What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember information about your visit, making it work properly and efficiently.

How we use cookies

DriveInstruct uses essential cookies to keep the service running, plus analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site and improve it. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.

Essential cookies

The following cookies are strictly necessary for DriveInstruct to function. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), essential cookies do not require consent. You cannot opt out of essential cookies and continue to use DriveInstruct — if you disable all cookies your login will not work.

We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies:

  • Stripe — sets cookies during the payment checkout process for fraud prevention. These are essential for payment processing.
  • Google Analytics — measures site traffic and usage patterns. Data is anonymised and aggregated. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
  • Google Search Console — used for webmaster verification and search performance measurement. No personal data is collected via Search Console cookies.
  • Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised heatmaps and session replays to help us improve the user interface. No personally identifiable information is stored. See Microsoft's privacy statement.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising or retargeting cookies.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing ones. Blocking essential cookies will prevent DriveInstruct from working correctly; blocking analytics cookies will not affect functionality.
